Congratulations to Alyssa and OJ, who have made it through the first trial for the Midlands U14s squad. This is particularly impressive for Alyssa, who is still only 11.
The snow looks as though it has put paid to any idea of hockey for another day or so. There are still four or five inches on the playing surface and a drift a foot deep outside the main gate.
